In 1989, Marc D. Grossman received his degree from The University of Michigan. In New York City, Mr. Grossman joined Mergel, Tubman & Grossman as an Associate and later as a Partner after completing the J.D./M.B.A. program at Brooklyn Law School and Baruch Business School and serving as an intern at the UN Law Department. A founding partner of Sanders and Grossman P.C., Baker Sanders Barshay Grossman Fass Muhlstock & Neuwirth, LLC, and Sanders Viener Grossman LLP, Mr. Grossman is also a Senior Partner of Sanders, Sanders, Block, Woycik, Viener & Grossman, P.C.
Recently, Mr. Grossman has defended thousands of victims of faulty pharmaceuticals and products as well as hundreds of wounded clients in lead paint, asbestos, and mold litigations. As a member of the Vioxx PSC’s Public Relations Committee and as a liaison for the Committee to many financial institutions and governmental agencies, Mr. Grossman received recognition while litigating Vioxx cases in the New Jersey Superior Court. He did this by providing a unified voice for the hundreds of attorneys handling these cases and the tens of thousands of victims they represent. Through their efforts and those of numerous other tenacious lawyers, Merck was eventually persuaded to accept one of the largest civil settlements in American history, totaling $4.85 billion. November 2010.
Approximately twenty instructional seminars intended to inform victims, the medical industry, and other attorneys have been hosted by Mr. Grossman, who has gained notoriety as a speaker and seminar host. As a legal analyst and supporter of victims’ rights against the corporate greed that afflicts our country, Mr. Grossman has been mentioned, as well as featured in several local and national forums in the media.
The Firm received the 2015 Litigator Award, which was announced in January 2016. Less than 1% of trial lawyers received the notable distinction, which is regarded as one of the highest awards given to trial lawyers.
