Bar in Brooklyn/Bushwick
Heaven or Las Vegas is a fantastic location to dance till 4 in the morning, and the same people that operate Mood Ring also own it. Both bars are located in the same building. There is one enormous dance floor that spans across three connected rooms, and it comes replete with a DJ booth and a smoke machine. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term “Early-’90s Slumber Party Rave,” this club features a number of stuffed animals dangling from the ceiling, including a Pikachu that is located over the bar. Simply make it a point to get there after 10 o’clock at night if you don’t want to be the only person there.
The proprietors of the well-known Mood Ring in Bushwick are currently in the process of transforming the space into a karaoke bar that will be named after a hit song by the Cocteau Twins. To say that the main bar’s decor is colorful would be an understatement; there are LED smiling faces behind the bar, and the space is dominated in the middle by a massive television for karaoke.
After you have successfully captivated the audience with your performance of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You,” you will be allowed to proceed to the next two rooms. This brand new club transforms into a full-fledged dance hall on the weekends, and from Sunday through Wednesday evenings, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., they host karaoke.
