Seth M. Greenberg is Greenberg & Stein’s president and founding partner. He graduated from the University of Maryland and Brooklyn Law School. Mr. Greenberg worked at two law firms before establishing his own.
JOSHUA N. STEIN

Mr. Stein is vice president of Greenberg & Stein, P.C. Since 1991, Mr. Stein has lived in the New York Metropolitan Area. Mr. Stein studied international relations at Boston University in 1991. He obtained a degree in law from Yeshiva University in 1994. Since 2014, Mr. Stein has been on “SuperLawyers”®.
He’s in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum® and Million Dollar Advocates Forum®. He leads the firm’s trial section. He’s won cases in New York and New Jersey state and federal courts.

Mr. Asch is from Long Island and completed SUNY Stonybrook. Mr. Asch earned a J.D. from George Washington University in D.C. Mr. Asch was a Supreme Court intern during law school.
He joined in 1999. He handles complex motions and appeals at the firm. Mr. Asch’s writing has been recognized by the Supreme Court and the 1st and 2nd Departments of New York’s Appellate Division.

Fordham and Brooklyn Law School grad John K. Kouroupas. Mr. Kouroupas was named Assistant Corporation Counsel for New York in 2002. Mr. Kouroupas won over ten jury verdicts for New York City in 2004.
Mr. Kouroupas was named Senior Counsel and Assistant Supervising Attorney for New York City in 2006. Mr. Kouroupas joined Papa, DePaola & Brounstein in 2007 and handled police misconduct claims, auto, construction, and premises accidents.
Mr. Kouroupas won a $1,800,000.00 verdict against the NYPD in 2015. (NYLJ’s Top Verdicts) Mr. Kouroupas won $400,000 against PAPD in Queens in 2017. (2018 NYLJ verdicts) Mr. Kouroupas has lectured on police misconduct and liability three times. Mr. Kouroupas joined Greenberg & Stein in 2019 as a senior litigator.
