Koreatown
Opening hours:
Mon–Sat 6:30pm–4am; Sun 7pm–4am
This is one of the karaoke places that can be found in K-best Town. It has a shimmering long hallway that is decorated with Christmas lights. The fact that guests are permitted to bring their own alcoholic beverages helps ensure that Gagopa, a karaoke club that is open seven days a week, is always packed. (Don’t be concerned because there is also a selection of beer and wine available.)
Midtown’s Koreatown is considered to be the karaoke central nervous system of New York City due to the hundreds of neon lights and seemingly endless supply of Korean barbecue eateries.
On the second and third levels, there are private rooms that can accommodate up to a dozen people each, and guests have the option of bringing their own alcoholic beverages or purchasing wine and Sake from the establishment. The crew has been there and done that, so they are prepared to help you in any way they can. They have seen (and heard) everything. It is possible for things to get a little out of hand because they are open till 4 in the morning. Test yourself to see whether you can keep going till the very finish. As a reward for winning, many aggravated members of the Gagopa staff will usher you out the door.
