David J. Bangel, Esq. graduated from Stony Brook in 1990 and Nova Law in 1993. Upon graduation, Mr. Bangel joined Stewart, DeCurtis, Greenblatt, Manning & Baez.

During his time at this firm, Mr. Bangel handled workers’ compensation matters. At the time, he represented insurance providers and self-insured employers, learning how they approach issues.

In 1995, Mr. Bangel joined Chesney, Murphy & Moran, where he handled Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury defense litigation for insurance companies and self-insured clients.

1997: Founded Bangel & Cohen, LLP. Mr. Bangel opted to defend injured workers before the Workers’ Compensation Board when he founded the firm. Mr. Bangel found his real calling and was able to use the knowledge he gained while representing insurance providers. With the addition of Christopher Falconetti, Esq. in 2011, the firm changed its name to Bangel, Cohen & Falconetti, LLP.

Mr. Bangel was admitted to the New York bar in 1994 and the Eastern and Southern U.S. districts in 1996. Mr. Bangel is a member of the NYSBA, QCBA, and Injured Workers’ Bar Association.
