Shake Shack is founded in 2001 but that time it was providing only hot dog car and then it started their business as an American fast casual restaurant chain based in New York City in 2004.
In the beginning, Shake Shack was just a hot dog cart in Madison Square Park that was used to make money for a public art initiative.
Because we are now a global business, our mission to “Stand For Something Good” has grown to encompass a wider range of activities. These activities now include taking care of our team, procuring premium ingredients from reputable partners, designing our Shacks in a responsible manner, and supporting our local communities in a variety of ways.
It is in our nature to help others. Twenty years later, we continue to fight for a cause that we believe in.
